Sramik: Awaaz: Workers Voices is the first film to chronicle the lives, work and organizing of Bangladeshi garment workers. Through interviews carried out in 2014 and 2015, and filming through 2016, the film shows the barriers faced by the mostly female workers. These interviews reflect some clear policy goals for improving the rights of workers not only in Bangladesh, but the issues raised echoes in workforces around the world even among low wage workers in US and Europe.
